The follow-through is the job.

This week we talked about equipment checks. Not just the inspection. The whole chain. Finding it, documenting it, and acting on it. That third step is where most programs fall apart. Not because people do not care. Because the system between finding and fixing has no owner.

Today's Focus: Every open deficiency is a decision. Leaving it open is a decision. Closing it is a decision. The difference is whether someone owns it or whether it sits on a form waiting for the next person to inherit the risk.

Before you leave the job site today, ask yourself one question. Is there anything on my truck, on my crew's gear, or on my site that has been flagged and not resolved?

If the answer is yes, do not leave it for Monday. Name it. Own it. Close the loop before you go home.

Because the inspection that matters most is the one that ends with action.

Have a safe weekend. See you Monday.
